Happy New Year! Welcome to 2013! As we begin a new year here at Central Orange County Alumnae Panhellenic we look forward to catching up with friends at our January 21st Meeting. We would love to have you join us - just email Jana Lafosse, our 1st Vice President for more information. This past October we held our 48th Annual Athena Luncheon. Congratulations to our 2 Recipients, our own Nancy Mellon (Panhellenic Honor Award Recipient), our outstanding scholarship winners and all the amazing nominees. These women set an example, by their dedication and selflessness. Thank you for all you do for Central Orange County. As always, we are busy preparing for the next Athena Luncheon and if your organization would like to nominate one of your outstanding members in recognition of what they have given the people in Central Orange County, please see the Athena page for more information and email our Nominations Chair. Well, as you can see we are busy! We look forward to seeing everyone at our January Meeting!

Welcome to COCAP

Central Orange County Alumnae Panhellenic is a community based organization, affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), whose membership is composed of fourteen representative alumnae from the twenty-six NPC member group fraternities. Central Orange County is made up of the following Orange County cities: Garden Grove, Orange, North Tustin, Santa Ana, Tustin, and Villa Park. For over eighty years, the purpose of COCAP has been:

1. To INFORM fraternity women of current trends.
2. To PROMOTE the fraternity system.
3. To IMPROVE the Panhellenic image.
4. To STIMULATE a continuing interest in Panhellenic affairs.

The organization accomplishes these purposes in the community by providing an informative website and by raising funds for scholarships for area high school seniors attending universities with NPC member group fraternities as well as NPC members at Chapman University. COCAP raises the funds for scholarships by hosting the annual Athena Benefit Luncheon, which honors female volunteers who live or volunteer in Central Orange County. Our member groups are also involved individually within the community in various philanthropic and social service projects.
